The 38-year-old frank rapper, style planner and spouse of Kim Kardashian discussed his profession and family in a meeting on the Big Boy's Neighborhood radio show on hip-bounce radio station Real 92.3 in Los Angeles Friday.
Recently, Kanye stood out as truly newsworthy over a huge number of tweets about himself, his point of view, his funds and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who he encouraged to put resources into "Kanye West's thoughts." The rapper later said his "number one foe" has been his sense of self. In his interview on Big Boy's Neighborhood, Kanye also talked about his music. The rapper, who released new album The Life of Pablo in February, dropped a new track, "Champions," featuring a slew of other artists, including Big Sean, 2 Chainz and Gucci Mane.
He said he is "usually constantly working on new music."
"I'm a champion. I'm a winner. I came to innovate. I came to change," he said. "This is like Michael Jackson level."
"You need a guy like me in the game," he added. "I only know how to give 1,000 percent."
