Nathaniel Chalobah started his career in 2012 at Chelsea. He spent all the seasons on loan at Middlesbrough, Reading, Watford etc. and returned this summer from Napoli. He finally got his chance: he made yesterday his first appearance for the club.
The 21-year-old impressed Antonio Conte with his performance and he probably doesn't have to wait six years until he is allowed to play again for The Blues.
He broke a 'sad' record who was held by Chelsea goalkeeper Nick Colgan, who had to wait 1,656 days between 1992 and 1997 in order to make his debut. Chalobah had to wait 2,190 days since he joined Chelsea in 2010.
