Something that hasn't been seen before: The Spanish coach has backed his eternal rival Jose Mourinho and says he needs some more time.
Pep says it's not fair what Morinho has been through the last weeks. "I heard a lot of things about the current situation which are not true. It's not fair what's happening to some colleagues who are not winning games right now", said Pep Guardiola to 'AS' and refered to Mourinho's current situation at Manchester United.
The Spaniard said people have to be patient and the clubs can't always win: "We've just played five games in the Premier League. I know this will happen to me, my players and my club, when we won't win. It's impossible to win all the games, it's impossible that the players are always in the perfect conditions".
Is he defending Jose Mourinho who is one of his biggest rivals in the football world? His declaration is very surprising and unexpected. Is this the beginning of a big friendship?
