In Marcus Rashford Sports

Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Marcus Rashford is likely to start against Feyenoord after impressing in his last two Premier League games for Manchester United.

Rashford came off the bench to score a late winner against Hull two weeks ago and then caused Manchester City a great deal of problems when he came on in United's Manchester derby defeat.

Now, Mourinho is prepared to give the young striker his first start of the season when United take on Feyenoord in the Europa League on Thursday.

"For me the next big game is against Feyenoord and the next game he is going to play. That is the only thing I can say," Mourinho told reporters.

The United boss also believes that the 18-year-old will be "absolutely brilliant" and also has the right personality to succeed at the highest level.

"I trust him completely. I know his future will be absolutely brilliant. He is mainly a number nine – if you want to play him in different positions, we need to work him, we need to improve him, but his big personality is there," Mourinho added.
"Normally, people look to the football talent but personality at his level is very important and he was showing that last season - he was showing that immediately".

The Portuguese then praised Rashford for his display against Man City, and thinks that the youngster changed the game when he came on at half-time.

"Against City, I felt they had the fragility on the sides and the kid [Rashford] could give us in the second half on the sides what we didn't get with Miki and Jesse in the first half," the United boss said.
