Scholes: Pogba should stop trying to act like Messi

The Manchester United legend believes the new United arrival is trying too hard to play like Messi instead of playing for his team.
Paul Pogba joined this summer Manchester United from Juventus for a world record fee of €110 million but he didn't prove yet that he's worth the money. The 24-year-old has been criticized a lot since he struggled a lot at his new club.
United legend Paul Scholes said that Pogba "is all over the place at times" and needs a calm player next to him who helps him to relax and to control him. The 41-year-old told 'BT Sport' :
"He's trying to beat three or four players. He's running with the ball. He should keep it simple for now. That’s not the player Manchester United bought. They didn't buy a Messi to go and beat five players and stick it in the top corner all the time. They bought a powerful, strong midfield player who can take the ball.
Scholes knows the Frenchman can do it better. He is convinced that he has a lot of skills to show, knows how to pass and is fast.
"If he just plays one-two touch, sticks the ball into Zlatan [Ibrahimovic] and runs, nobody can live with that. He's got so much pace, so much power".
He thinks that michael Carrick could help Pogba a lot and maybe like this he can start to justify his price tag.
